TIGARD, Ore. — The Idaho Stampede, the minor league affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers, announced they will host player tryouts for the 2010-11 season.
There are three tryouts -- one in Denver, Colo., one in Boise, Idaho, and one in Tigard.
The Tigard tryout will be held at the ClubSport in Tigard at 18120 S.W. Lower Boonesferry Road from noon to 8 p.m. Oct. 2.
Open tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Stampede coaching staff, including new head coach Randy Livingston. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the Stampede’s official Training Camp in November.
Applicants must be eligible to play in the NBA Development League and may pre-register by submitting the official registration, disclosure and release forms, along with a $150 fee. The fee increases to $200 on the day of camp. Payments may be made by cash, cashier’s check or credit card.
Registration forms and waivers are available at www.idahostampede.com or the Idaho Stampede office, at 233 S. Capitol Blvd., Suite 100, Boise, Idaho 83702.
